The Kiseru, a Japanese traditional smoking device, is made of heat-resistant glass. The pipe bowl is small, so that after 2,3 puffs, the ash falls out. There are smoking devices similar in shape to those found in Southeast Asia, but they have an evolved form unique to Japan. They are heat-resistant as well as chemical-resistant (acid and alkali), so they can be soaked and washed.

火皿は小さく2,3回吸ったら灰を落とす様な使い方です。
東南アジアに似た形の喫煙具はありますが日本独自の進化を遂げた形状になっています。
耐熱性だけでなく耐薬性(酸・アルカリ)もあるので漬け置き洗いも可能です。
